A big item in the news recently has been the passing of AB 1482 in California. This introduces statewide rent control measures. The good news is that there are some paths investors can take to avoid these, but it will clearly have a chilling effect on the exact kind of housing that the bill is supposed to encourage.
We will chat about the bill and the why it just might mean landlords will want to shift their focus on the types of properties that they want to invest in.
